This platform was really made for you to tinker with. It supports T1/E1, Gigabit Ethernet and 3G wireless protocols, among others, so the only thing you have to do is pick the plug-and-play modules that fit your needs. This Cisco 1900 series Integrated Service Router can handle them all with a bevy of common network services like Power over Ethernet, IPv6 support and Quality of Service. These implementations are based on Cisco IOS Security software, and they're backed up by tested hardware that makes it easy to implement new features quickly, regardless how you configure your expansions.

The CISCO1921-SEC/K9 includes a Web Services Management Agent, NetFlow, VPN and VLAN support. These features are great for building your own corporate infrastructure around standard Ethernet, Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet data links. This all-around workhorse will definitely get your data architectures started off on the right foot.
